General
No order will be deemed to constitute a contract of sale irrespective of the manner of its transmission to the Seller until the Goods are dispatched by the Seller. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Delivery
The Seller shall not be held liable for any losses, expenses or consequential loss incurred by the Buyer or any other person or company however arising whether directly or indirectly out of a failure to meet an estimated delivery date.
Payment
Payment by credit or debit card is due at the time of order. If any payment or part thereof is not received by the Seller by the due date, the Seller shall be entitled to charge interest on the outstanding amount at the rate of 2% per calendar month.
Goods remain the property of The Quiet Hearth until fully paid for.
Returned Goods
Notification of damage of wrongly shipped goods or incompletely shipped goods should be made within 48 hours of delivery with photo evidence attached. Any claim made outside of 48 hours will not be accepted.
The Buyer will be liable for the cost of remedying damage to returned goods where such damage has in the opinion of the Seller been caused by the goods being inadequately packaged by the Buyer.
The Seller's failure to insist upon strict adherence to any of the terms and conditions with this contract shall not be deemed a waiver of its rights within these terms and conditions.
Legal Liability
The contracts from the sales of goods by The Quiet Hearth shall be subject to and governed by English law.
Liability of The Quiet Hearth shall in no circumstance exceed the original value of the price charged for the goods. The Quiet Hearth cannot accept liability for injury or negative consequence of using the products it sells.
Acceptance of terms
By placing an order, you confirm your agreement to these terms and conditions. Your statutory rights are unaffected.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and changes to our website.
